About me

B.S/ M.S MECHANICAL ENGINEER | AEROSPACE

[ ABOUT ME ]

I’m Haider, and I’ve spent my life trying to figure out how things work and how to make them work better.

Right now, that curiosity has me at GWU, finishing up an accelerated BS/MS in Aerospace Engineering. Whether it’s propulsion systems or complex orbital mechanics, I’m obsessed with the "mission-critical" side of the industry. My goal is simple: to build the hardware that takes us further, whether that’s with NASA, Lockheed, or Northrop Grumman. I don't just study this stuff, though; I’m living it. As the co-founder of Black Zero LLC, I’m hands-on with technical design every day, building aerospace solutions for government-level challenges. When I’m away from the CAD files and thrusters, you’ll usually find me on a soccer field, behind a camera lens, or exploring a new corner of the map. To me, engineering, photography, and travel are all the same thing: they’re about finding new perspectives and understanding the world from the ground up. I’m based in D.C. and looking for a team that isn't afraid of a little entrepreneurial grit and a lot of technical deep-diving.

MY APPLIED ENGINEERING & LEADERSHIP

GW CUBESAT [ FALL 2025 - PRESENT ]
PROPULSION TEAM MEMBER

Developing and analyzing propulsion system solutions, specifically focusing on the design and integration of thrusters for satellite orbital maneuvering

GW ROCKET [ FALL 2025 - PRESENT ]
PROPULSION TEAM MEMBER

Developing and analyzing the propulsion system for a high-powered competition rocket. My work focuses on motor selection, thrust-curve analysis, and the mechanical design of the motor mount and integration

GW AIAA DESIGN, BUILD & FLY [ FALL 2024 - PRESENT ]
DESIGN TEAM MEMBER

Contributing to the CAD modeling, structural design, and hands-on prototyping for a flight-ready, competition

BLACK ZERO [ FEBRUARY 2025 - PRESENT ]
CO-FOUNDER & ENTREPRENEUR

As an entrepreneur, I co-founded Black Zero aerospace solutions startup. I lead the complete technical lifecycle, from design and analysis to development, for mission-critical, government-contracted solutions.

CORE CAPABILITIES

A DETAILED BREAKDOWN OF MY TECHNICAL SKILLS.

[ KEY SKILLS]
  • - 3D Modeling & Assemblies (SolidWorks)
  • - Engineering Drawings & GD&T
  • - Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
( O1 )

Validating and optimizing digital designs. This involves leveraging analytical tools like Ansys and MATLAB to test, prove, and refine component performance against real-world forces and system dynamics.

[ KEY SKILLS]
  • - Structural & FEA (ANSYS)
  • - System Dynamics (MATLAB)
  • - Fluid Mechanics Analysis
  • - Orbital Mechanics
( O2 )

I have hands-on experience in taking a model from CAD to a finished part using modern and traditional shop tools.

[ KEY SKILLS]
  • - CNC Machining & G-Code
  • - Manual Mill & Lathe Operation
  • - 3D Printing (FDM) & Laser Cutting
  • - Soldering & Electronics Assembly
